Working with VNLLA

5 commonly asked questions in this area.

We do our best work with B2C and DTC founders and marketing leads at brands doing roughly €500k–€5M a year, past the freelancer-patchwork stage but not ready to build a full in-house team. What they have in common: they want one senior team handling brand, web and growth, instead of juggling four different vendors.
Our studio is in Amsterdam, but we work with clients across Europe, the UK, the US and Australia. Async-first by default, with weekly calls or Looms in your timezone. For Dutch and EU clients we can also meet in person.
An in-house hire is one perspective, one skillset and a long ramp-up. A freelancer is great for one task but hard to scale. VNLLA gives you an entire senior team, strategy, design, dev, SEO, paid, video, under one monthly subscription, with no recruitment overhead, no holiday cover gaps and no learning curve.
Three things. First, no juniors hidden behind account managers, every hour on your project is delivered by senior practitioners. Second, every service lives under one roof so brand, web and growth stay aligned. Third, our credit-based packages mean you only pay for what you use, with full transparency on where each credit goes.
Yes, happily. We can sign your NDA before any commercial conversation, or send ours over. Confidentiality is the default for everything we do, signed or not.

Packages, credits & pricing

6 commonly asked questions in this area.

You pick a monthly tier (Foundation, Pipeline or Dominance) and get a pool of credits each month. Every task, a landing page section, an SEO article, an ad creative set, a CRO sprint, has a fixed credit cost. You decide where the credits go, we deliver them. No surprise invoices, no scope creep.
On Foundation and Pipeline, credits are designed to be spent in the month, and we plan each cycle with you so nothing goes to waste. On Dominance, unused credits roll over for one billing cycle. Top-ups are available on every tier if you have a bigger sprint coming up.
Our packages run on a three-month initial commitment so we can build a real rhythm with you, then continue month-to-month with 30 days notice. No long lock-ins, no auto-renewing annual contracts.
Yes, any time. Most clients start on Pipeline, scale up to Dominance during launch periods or peak season, and dial back to Foundation when things stabilise. We'll proactively flag if you're consistently under- or over-using your credits.
Yes, full brand identities, website rebuilds, e-commerce migrations and bespoke development projects are quoted and delivered as fixed-scope engagements. Many clients then move onto a monthly package once the initial build is live.
Pricing depends a lot on scope and which services you're combining, and we'd rather have a 15-minute conversation than have you bounce off a number out of context. The Packages page lists our Growth Engine tiers transparently, and project work is always quoted in writing before you commit to anything.

Process, timelines & communication

6 commonly asked questions in this area.

Discovery calls usually happen within a few days of you reaching out. From signed proposal to kickoff is typically 1–2 weeks for Growth Engine plans and 2–3 weeks for project work, it depends on your readiness and the seasonal load on the studio.
A focused marketing site lands in 6–12 weeks. A more complex e-commerce or custom platform build runs 10–16 weeks. We share a clear week-by-week timeline at kickoff so there are no surprises.
You get a shared workspace (Notion or Linear), a Slack or WhatsApp channel for quick questions, and a weekly checkpoint, either an async Loom or a 30-minute call, your preference. Async-first, but never silent.
Your senior project lead. There is no account manager translating between you and the people doing the work, you talk directly to the strategist, designer or developer responsible for that piece.
Each deliverable has two structured rounds of revisions baked in. We use Figma comments for design and a Loom-driven walkthrough for dev/QA so feedback is specific and actionable, not 'make it pop'.
Every engagement includes a settling-in period where we monitor performance, fix anything that wobbles and train your team. From there, most clients move onto a monthly package for ongoing iteration, hosting and growth work.
04

Brand development

5 commonly asked questions in this area.

Brand strategy and positioning, naming if needed, verbal identity (tone, key messages, taglines), full visual system (logo, type, colour, motion principles, photography direction) and a brand guidelines document your team can use. Optional add-ons: launch campaign, internal rollout assets, packaging.
10–14 weeks depending on depth. Strategy and positioning take roughly the first third, identity design the middle third, and rollout / guidelines the final third. Tactical refreshes land faster, from 3–4 weeks.
Often this is the smarter move. We run a brand audit, identify what's working and what's holding you back, and propose either a tactical refresh (typography, palette, applications) or a deeper strategic reset. It's a conversation, not a default.
We handle naming and verbal identity end-to-end, including shortlist generation, linguistic checks and domain availability. For formal trademark registration we work alongside your IP lawyer or recommend one.
That's normal and that's exactly what discovery is for. We facilitate stakeholder workshops, surface the disagreements early and help you land on a single direction with evidence, instead of designing seven concepts to please everyone.
05

Websites, hosting & web development

6 commonly asked questions in this area.

Most marketing sites we build on Webflow, Sanity or Payload, or a headless Next.js setup when scale calls for it. We pick based on who'll edit the site, the integrations you need, and whether you'll want to scale into a custom platform later.
Yes. Every site we build ships with a structured CMS, sensible defaults and a Loom walkthrough for your team. You should never need to email us to change a headline or swap a hero image.
Yes, every package includes managed hosting, uptime monitoring, security patches, backups and a monthly performance report. You don't need a separate dev shop on standby to keep the site healthy.
Performance budgets, accessibility checks (WCAG 2.2 AA target) and on-page SEO are baked in from day one, not bolted on at the end. We aim for 90+ Core Web Vitals scores on launch and ship structured data, sitemaps and proper canonicals as standard.
Yes. We migrate sites onto more capable platforms preserving URLs, redirects, SEO equity and content. We'll audit your current setup first and tell you honestly whether a migration or a polish is the right call.
Yes, booking systems, customer portals, internal admin tools, API integrations, headless CMS pipelines, the lot. Anything a template can't handle, our dev team builds properly.
06

E-commerce

5 commonly asked questions in this area.

Primarily Shopify (including Shopify Plus) and headless setups built on Next.js or Remix with a commerce layer. We also support WooCommerce migrations and Centra for fashion brands. We'll recommend the right platform for your catalogue size, market and tech roadmap.
Yes, we've moved stores from Magento, BigCommerce, Squarespace, WooCommerce and bespoke builds onto Shopify and headless setups, keeping URLs, SEO equity and customer / order history intact.
Yes, both as a one-off audit + sprint and as an ongoing programme. A structured CRO sprint ships two A/B-tested improvements across PDPs, checkout, navigation or key landing pages; Pipeline supports one sprint a month, Dominance a continuous cadence.
Yes. We write Liquid, build custom sections, set up app stacks (reviews, subscriptions, loyalty, post-purchase) and build proprietary apps when the off-the-shelf options don't fit. We're allergic to plugin sprawl that slows your store down.
Yes, we set up Shopify Markets, multi-currency pricing, language routing, regional checkout and fulfilment integrations. Localisation isn't an afterthought, it's planned at the architecture stage.
07

Search, SEO & advertising

6 commonly asked questions in this area.

Yes, and it matters. The same strategist owns both, which means your paid landing pages feed your organic content roadmap, and your SEO insights inform what we test on paid. Most agencies silo these. We don't.
Google Search and Performance Max, Meta (Facebook + Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube. Channel mix is recommended based on your buyer, your margins and your sales cycle, not based on which channel we feel like running this month.
Tactical wins (technical fixes, on-page improvements, internal linking) show up within 4–8 weeks. Real ranking and traffic momentum from content and authority work takes 4–6 months, with compounding traction at 9–12. Anyone promising you faster is selling you something.
On Meta we'd suggest €3k+ per month in ad spend to learn meaningfully. On Google Search, €1.5k+ depending on your CPCs. On LinkedIn, €5k+ because the costs per lead are higher. We'll be straight with you if your spend is too low for a channel to work.
Live Looker Studio dashboard you can check any time, plus a monthly written report with what we did, what we learned, and what we're testing next. No vanity-metric theatre.
Yes, copy, static creative, motion ads and short-form video are all produced in-house. The same team running the campaign is the team making the creative, which is why our ads tend to perform.
08

Video production

4 commonly asked questions in this area.

Brand films, founder stories, product launch films, testimonial and case study videos, motion graphics, explainer animations and short-form vertical content for Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
Our two in-house creators are based in Amsterdam and travel across the EU and UK regularly. For the US, Asia or Australia we either fly to you or partner with a local production crew we've vetted.
Video has its own credit costs based on shoot days and edit complexity. A one-day shoot with a hero film + 6 short-form cutdowns is a typical Pipeline-tier sprint. We'll scope it properly before we touch a camera.
We script, storyboard and direct end-to-end. Most clients come to us with a goal ('we need to launch this product' or 'we need testimonial content for paid social'), not a finished script.
09

Support, security & ownership

4 commonly asked questions in this area.

Yes, full IP transfer on payment for all final deliverables (brand assets, code, copy, video). We retain the right to feature anonymised case studies in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Critical issues (site down, payments broken, security incident): under 2 hours during business hours, monitored after hours. Standard requests: same or next working day. Everything is logged and visible to you.
All sites ship with HTTPS, CSP headers, regular dependency audits, automatic backups and access controls. We're GDPR-compliant by default. DPAs available, EU data residency where required, and clear cookie / consent flows on every site we build.
We make it easy. 30 days notice on packages, full handover documentation for everything we've built, and a clean transfer of hosting, domains, repositories and accounts. No hostage situations.
